Age-old tradition and beliefs are followed even today in the 21st century. But awareness is what makes lives simple.
For the last seven generations, no child has been born in the Deshmukh gharana. But the lineage continues as every couple adopts a kid. Suhasini Deshmukh (Nirmiti), however, accepts a challenge from a lady in the village that by the year-end, she would be a grandmother to her adopted son Mukunda (Sanjay Narvekar) and Komal (Pooja Nayak)’s biological child. Both are flabbergasted as they know it is impossible.
Suhasini asks her brother Shriram (Makarand Anaspure), an Ayurvedic doctor, to help Mukunda and his wife with his medicines. Kirti’s entry into the house by accident brings in a new ray of hope. Thus begins the medical treatment followed by some hilarious moments.
Technical ExpertiseNirmiti Sawant looks the part of the elegant Suhasini Deshmukh. Though her views and ideas are age-old, she makes her character very convincing. Sanjay Narvekar and Makarand Anaspure provide the necessary laughter. Situations are well weaved to make it comical. Music by Ajay Parab is worth a mention, and so is the editing by Rahul Bhatankar.
