Surrogacy has become a large scale business in India nowadays.
This film is based on a true incident. Mary, a photo model and her husband from a foreign country come to India with a dream of becoming parents via surrogacy. Yashodha accepts the proposal due to personal circumstances and her need for money. But destiny has different plans and after 6 months Mary refuses to accept the child due to disabilities. But the child in the womb already evokes emotions of the mother in Yashodha and a lovely child with blue eyes and golden hair starts growing in the hut of a poor village mother, Yashodha. But the real drama takes place now. Will the mother in Mary come back in search of the child? By law, to whom does the child belong? Which relation can be called a blood relation? All this struggle for motherhood is called Mala Aai Vhayachay!! (I want to be a mother)
